KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 24th Apr, 2018 ) :Eight mine workers were killed due to an explosion in a coal mine situation in Kala Khel, bordering area of Dara Adam Khel, sources said. According to details, eight miners were busy in digging when a gas explosion occurs in the mine.
Eight dead bodies have been recovered so far while three workers are reported to be trapped in the mine. Rescue teams have been reached to the spot and started operation for recovery of the trapped miners.
Pakistan Central Mines Labour Federation (PCMLF) codem such type of mining accident and demanded that the government shoul ratified C-176 and would help to get technical assistance and modern technology for safety of mine workers in Pakistan; and educate/train the mining workers and trade union activists
We believe that the existing protection measures and inspection mechanism are not adequate to protect the mine workers in general and coal mine workers in particular. Therefore stress upon the Government of Pakistan to take appropriate steps to ensure safety of the workers in coal mines. We feel that C176 – Safety and Health in Mines Convention, 1995 (No. 176) is the most relevant convention in this regard. لقى ثمانية عمال من عمال المناجم مصرعهم فى منجم فحم فى كالا خيل المتاخمة لمنطقة دارا ادم خيل ، وفقا لما ذكرته المصادر.
كوهات ، (أورد بوينت / باكستان بوينت نيوز – 24 أبريل ، 2018): قتل ثمانية عمال منجم في منجم للفحم في كالا خيل ، المتاخمة لمنطقة دارا ادم خيل ، حسبما ذكرت المصادر. ووفقا للتفاصيل ، كان ثمانية من عمال المنجم مشغولين بالحفر عندما وقع انفجار غازى فى المنجم.
تم انتشال ثمان جثث حتى الآن في المنجم. وقد تم الوصول إلى فرق الإنقاذ إلى الموقع وبدأت عملية عمال المناجم المحاصرين.
اتفق اتحاد عمال المناجم في باكستان (PCMLF) على مثل هذا النوع من حوادث التعدين وطالب بأن تصادق الحكومة على C-176 وسيساعد في الحصول على المساعدة التقنية والتكنولوجيا الحديثة لضمان سلامة عمال المناجم في باكستان. وتثقيف / تدريب عمال التعدين والنشطاء النقابيين
ونعتقد أن تدابير الحماية الحالية والتفتيش غير كافية لحماية الألغام. لذا التشديد على حكومة باكستان لرعاية الألغام. نشعر أن C176 – اتفاقية السلامة والصحة في المناجم ، 1995 (رقم 176) هي الاتفاقية الأكثر أهمية في هذا الصدد. جنبا إلى جنب مع التأكيد على السياسة الوطنية والإطار القانوني
يجتمع الاتحاد الباكستاني لعمال المناجم (PCMLF) ويتظاهر ضد هذا العمل الوحشي في 28 أبريل.
